Hi, sarah Mack here and welcome back to the Creative Magic Club podcast, which is here to help you become a six-figure creative by filling your high-ticket offer through authentic storytelling and astrology-guided content strategy. So today we're going to talk about two of our favorite things here on the show, which is astrology and money, and the strategy the strategy mindset and messaging to confidently raise your prices to easily sell a 5 to 10k plus priced high ticket offer. So raising your prices is one of those things to get good at. That is really going to change your life and business and it can feel really scary. We can come up against immense internal resistance and we can waste so much freaking time and energy ruminating and questioning and doubting our prices, which is just not necessary, and obviously it's such a big fat waste of time to undercharge when you actually could be charging so much more money. So let's talk about it, let's unpack it and obviously I talk a lot about my journey with this in my book, the Six Figure Creative, available on Amazon everywhere, and I share really the whole story of how I went from charging $5, my writing gigs when I first started out as an entrepreneur to, you know, selling packages at 10k plus. And in the book I share the money mindset, prompts and a lot of simple, fun exercises, like my post-it note method, like writing down my next level income goal on the post-it on my laptop. That really guided me to increase my prices very quickly. That led to me doubling my income two years in a row and growing to six figures within that time from, yeah, charging $5 for a writing gig to charging thousands of dollars for my coaching programs. That enabled me to start to bring in six figures a year in my business.

And this is one of the most common questions I get asked about, which is how do I price my work? And I have very specific answers and guidance for that question. So I wanted to dive into some of the important pieces here today to empower you to fucking raise your prices. Stop undercharging. You know your work is life-changing and valuable. You know that you deserve to be paid abundantly and you know that your work is worth it, right, and maybe there's a lot of voices in your head that are telling you otherwise. So let's dive in.

So, beyond just the mindset around this, which obviously is a super, super, super important foundation that, if it's not there, will undermine absolutely everything else you do in attempting to raise your prices and sign clients at those new prices. But there are very specific shifts in strategy and messaging that I was really intuitively guided to once I set the intention to raise my prices. So I also want to tell you the parts of your chart that you can look to for specific strategy and guidance in your business so that you can feel confident to raise your prices and have the experience that I do with selling high ticket offers, which is that it's super fun and easy to attract what I like to call dream, dream, dream soulmate clients who are just amazing people who are really hyped about your work and who you are, which makes them super excited and ready to pay my you know five to 10k prices that I charge for my offers. I don't have to handle objections. People generally just pop up in my inbox when they're ready to buy my offers and the entire sales experience feels easy, authentic and super fun. And it obviously was not that way always and I've built a lot of skills around having that conversation in my content and I used to do a lot of sales calls and you know objection handling and I learned really the sales psychology of buying and that's what I teach in my content strategy with my clients now and I want that for you.

So first up, let's talk about messaging. So this is my personal opinion, which is to stop wasting time on content that is not strategically targeted to sell your high ticket offer. I'm talking about behind the scenes food pics, lifestyle pics without making it relevant to the journey of your client. You know we've all been there posting life updates for easy likes without actually intentionally positioning yourself as the trusted guide and in the way that you serve your clients and you know no shade if you just like, really want to do this and you really feel pulled to do this. But I'm of the mind that if I'm going to put the time and the energy and the effort into showing up, I might as well be showcasing my leadership and my skills in a way that very intentionally guides sole clients into your high ticket offer, so that any piece of my content that somebody new lands on is going to be working for me to do that right. There's not going to be any confusion about who I am from my content online. And another thing is just kind of blindly following inspiration and intuition without keeping to a very intentional sales strategy for your offer and obviously you can follow inspiration and intuition within that clear, intentional sales strategy. But if you're just going off on tangents like I've tried that before and it doesn't work and it can lead to just attracting people who aren't the right fit, which leads to getting nose on sales calls, which leads to just time, energy wasted and a lot of frustration. So I'm never just posting for likes or to share life updates just because, um, because I don't want to spend my whole life on the internet. So when I do show up, it's with intention.

Okay, so what do we focus on them? The key focus is personal storytelling focused around the transformation that your work provides. So the ways to turn up the dial on this so that it's doing a better job for you and actually leading to sales, is to just listen to this podcast all the time, because this is pretty much what I'm talking about in every episode. But it's also to really crank up your confidence, which we're going to dive into next. It's also to really check yourself that you're getting vulnerable and that you're being human and that you're showing your own perfections. We're going to unpack this more, but also what's really important is to be clearly communicating how your work solves your client's problem in language that they understand, not in your high level industry jargon, and really being able to communicate that repetitively in succinct and relevant selling points. This is, honestly, the majority of the work that I do with clients behind the scenes is getting really clear on what those selling points are and those story points and then drilling them to be like you need to use this on repeat and let's find you know a million different angles for you to talk about these points in your content so that every piece of content can lead to a buyer and lead to a high ticket sale.

Speaker 1:

And please, psa like I will say this until I am blue in the face, which I'm doing all day long with my clients your story is the reason why people hire you. It's not because your content's pretty. It's not because of your lifestyle. Well, I mean, your lifestyle is representation of your story. It's not because you're perfect. It's not because you're the perfect weight, the perfect height, the perfect age. Charging the perfect price is none of these things. It's the full complexity of your human story and the brilliance and the genius that you have created and the results that you've created and the challenges that you've overcome and how you're leading yourself today. So be generous in sharing your story.

And my absolute favorite part of your astrology chart to tap into stories to tell that really build trust and genuine connection more quickly than absolutely any other type of content is your Chiron sign. Because when we realize that everybody has that part of their life where they have faced repetitive challenges and you find the connections to how that has brought you so many skills, wisdom and tools that now make you such a valuable resource for your clients, you are onto a goldmine of information about yourself that will quickly demonstrate your value and trustworthiness in your storytelling, which leads to clients way faster. So if you think I sound repetitive, just know everybody holds back. Everybody is holding back. Every single client I work with very inconveniently forget to include personal story in their content pieces really clearly communicate your work and who it's for, but it can really quickly become so easy to lean on that and to feel really comfortable in that because you're like well, I'm doing the right thing, I'm being focused with my messaging, but if it becomes too depersonalized and people can't feel you and they can't read your story in the work that you show up to share in your content online. Why would they pick you right when they could pick 10,000 other people?

Speaker 1:

So get this tattooed on your hand, put a post-it note on your screen, share your story, be generous and you know it can obviously feel challenging to consistently show up and be vulnerable while being fully human and also staying cohesive within your brand. So you're not all over the place and you can actually become easily recognizable and easily referable for the work that you do, and this is really the intention of your brand and the intention of your brand storytelling. So a power placement in your chart that can really really help with this is understanding your midheaven, which can help you to see the common threads of your work and message that you are here to be known for and really all the iterations that have evolved for you throughout your life. And as a general rule, I always ask myself is this thing that I want to create or put out or write about in alignment and resonance with my midheaven? And if yes, then I know it's on brand and I can also find the midheaven relevant content angles to talk about almost any aspect of my life and work, which makes being fully me, unrestricted and self-expressed in my brand really easy and fun without running the risk of becoming scattered or confusing or distracting people from the work that we're here to do. In my offer that I want people to sign up for, so making it clearer and easier to focus on our personal storytelling will make it less likely that we will forget or fall into that resistance, because we do tend to resist getting personal in our storytelling.

It is a built in protective mechanism, which is why it's so so, so, so, so important to work on mindset hand in hand with our strategy and messaging. So to confidently raise your prices and pitch your work at five to 10,000 plus price tag, you have to do three very important things. The first thing is to be absolutely unquestionably connected to the value that you bring, and this work is absolutely unavoidable and necessary to succeed at selling high ticket. You can't have a doubt in your mind that this is going to be transformation for people when they're paying you that much money, doubt in your mind that this is going to be a transformation for people when they're paying you that much money. And this is really a mindset. It's you choosing to flush the doubt down the toilet and replace them with all of the many, many, many, many, many reasons why you and your work is so freaking valuable to your client. And when you do this, the doubts stop getting in the way and they stop like putting on the brake pedal that make you resist or procrastinate or take a long time or make it feel really, really hard to show up and pitch your offer or ask for the sale, which can really sabotage your launch. And then, when you do this, you find it way easier and more fun to show up and actually pitch and sell your work in deeply authentic ways, which leads to genuinely compatible client relationships and surprisingly easy sales. Yes, even if you just raised your rates by 300%. So the most powerful part of your chart to look at to understand how to print money and understand the deep reasons why people want to hire you and pay you to help them is your Venus sign. So this is such a great place to dive into when you're doing that mindset work around your value.

And then the most important strategic piece that's going to make all of this actually work and leads to clients and sales is to position your offer around your highest value contribution. Not well, I'm kind of good at this and I'm good at this and this and I could do this, or I feel inspired to do this Like no, no, no, no, no. To really stand out and to confidently charge high ticket prices, you have to get clear on the most valuable problem that you can solve for your clients and to be able to make that really clear in your offer. So maybe you're wondering exactly how to turn insights from your Venus sign into your highest value offer and which specific mindset exercises will actually put an end to doubting that you are capable of charging much more for your work.
