I have my seventh house in pisces and so, whether or not you're a sun, moon or rising in pisces, or whether you have other placements in pisces or you just really identify with that super, super creative, really heart centered, highly sensitive, very visionary and dreamy Pisces energy when it comes to creating consistency and income and creative fulfillment in business and overcoming a lot of the unique challenges for those of us who identify with those qualities of being a bit of a dreamer, being a little bit delulue in all the best ways. And you know we're going to talk about some of those challenges and I'm going to share some really key strategies to help you to build a high ticket business successfully and confidently and to sign clients successfully without sacrificing your creativity and all of these, all of the magic of these qualities that you embody as a creative, as a dreamer, as an empathetic visionary. So get excited, I'm excited and let's dive into the themes of Pisces season.

Speaker 1:

So this is really the dreamer, the believer, the mystic, the idealistic drivers of life. Like we need this visionary ideals. We need people who are willing to be delusional and to look beyond our current reality in order to evolve us into the future and into new and better as we evolve. It is the water element. It's also mutable, so highly, highly changeable. It's ruled by Neptune, so it really is that dreamy quality and it's associated with the 12th house, which is also about what's hidden. It can be associated with aloneness, with the subconscious, with psychic powers and the positive or not positive.

Speaker 1:

You know, the higher expression of this energy is being super creative, being able to channel ideas from the divine. And being able to channel ideas from the divine and being able to express them, and really trusting your intuitive guidance and wisdom and giving yourself permission to believe in the ideals that really excite you and make you feel alive and like you're building a world that you are excited to continue living in. And some of the challenges that can show up around this energy are escapism, confusion, being overly trusting right Like being taken advantage of, having really leaky boundaries, also being kind of like holier than thou, spiritual savior, and being a little bit too selfless, right Like overgiving. What comes up for you when we talk about these themes? What resonates, what's triggering? What do you not want to talk about? What would you rather avoid? What's pulling your attention? Let's talk about it.

Speaker 1:

The desire of Pisces energy is really that connection through creative self-expression. Right, as creators, all we really want when we create is, number one, to feel connected to ourself. Number two, to feel connected to the divine, to the whole. And number three, to feel connected to each other, to be seen in community, to be witnessed, to feel seen and acknowledged and to have the satisfaction of fulfillment of others witnessing and connecting to what it is that we're putting out there and benefiting from and receiving what it is that we create right. And that's where having unideal boundaries or just navigating boundaries can be especially challenging with, you know, people like us because it feels so good to give and to give and to give that can also be intermingled with conditioning around people pleasing around, not feeling worthy and deserving of receiving, not feeling deserving of asking and saying no. And you know, being pushy right, like being persistent enough to get what it is that we need, require and desire for the exchange of our presence and our energy and our skills and our gifts. And that can be especially hard to navigate in entrepreneurship, because you have to give before you get right, especially as a content creator, especially as an entrepreneur, you have to demonstrate to people how you can be of value to them in order to build trust and to build relationships that lead to them feeling confident to pay us. And it can be really easy to get stuck in the phase of doing trades, of overgiving, of not really getting good at asking for the sale and really following through to where you're going to be paid and you're going to be working with the people who are going to honor your time and energy, who are going to make the most of your gifts and your talents and your skills to bring your vision to life.

Speaker 1:

There's so much I have to say about this. Obviously, my entire business is based around this conversation, but know that the key lessons that Pisces energy brings us is to have courage right, like very similarly to Aquarius energy, which is that revolutionary, that, um, willingness to go first, to be the rebel, to break the rules, to do differently, to break out of outdated or stagnant ways of doing things, to usher in the new age of doing things in your industry, to refuse to stand for things that don't work for you, things that aren't in alignment with your values. That requires some pushback right. It's going to require you having to say no. It's going to require you having to allow yourself to be misunderstood, to upset or trigger people because you're paving a new way and you're doing things differently.

Speaker 1:

Similarly, pisces energy is about having the courage to trust our visions, and the words that my wonderful friend, rachel Ferrara once said really stuck in my head. She said that our visions are real and she is a true visionary and an incredible healer. Go and check her out if you don't know her. But our visions are real. They come to us right, like they're, in a form that we are able to receive internally. And everybody's visions are different, and in my, you know, 10 years of being an entrepreneur, of guiding people to realize their visions through online business, I've seen that everybody's visions are so different and specific visions come to specific people for a reason.

Speaker 1:

So you have to pay attention to your desires and your visions and the things that you're drawn towards realizing in your life and business, and this has so much meaning and this is really the foundation of our strategy, right? And so often we get lost. With you know, success leaves clues hiring a mentor, following a step by step on a proven path because why be the bushwhacker? Why reinvent the wheel? Right? And so it's about finding the balance with those things, finding the strategies that resonate with you, that can support you, but always finding your own way within that, and always finding your own creative self-expression and your own way of tweaking the way that things are done. So, yeah, you don't have to like rebuild the entire house when someone's already, you know, put the foundations down for you. But it's so important to have an intuitive approach to your strategy so that you can tweak and refine it so that it works for you. And this is how I've built my entire business. Having never studied business before, I began as an entrepreneur 11 years ago and just intuitively being drawn to the pieces that I need at the time that I needed them.

Speaker 1:

I talk about how, like, creativity is one of the most important qualities for people in the workforce, moving forward in the times that we're in, it's creativity and it's adaptability. We're in the age of Aquarius, we're in very rapidly evolving technological landscapes and you know, as I'm sure you've experienced, the frustration of oh, I'm logging into Zoom and all of the buttons are in a different place. Oh, I'm logging onto Instagram. My entire feed has changed the ratio, like everything is always changing, so we have to be adaptable. So we have to be adaptable and creativity is the most profoundly supportive skill in the world that we currently live in. Ironic right For all of those teachers and parents who told us you'll never make money being a creative when you're young. So nurturing and prioritizing our creativity is a skill that can allow us to thrive and to make more money moving forward into this very volatile and unpredictable world that we're currently living in.

Speaker 1:

So take this as an invitation to tune in with what are the rituals and practices that nurture your creativity. And these are your number one, most important strategic moves that you can make in a day. Because anytime we fall into that kind of going through the motions, being a little cog in the factory machine and just doing the same thing over and over and over again, you're going to reach a point of stagnation. But that's no longer going to work for you, because we're humans and we're always growing and the market is always changing and our clients are always growing and evolving. Instead of being overwhelmed by it, instead of bitching and complaining about it, recognizing and this, I feel, is like the biggest, like mental missing link in the creative community is not seeing how your capacity for creativity is your superpower when it comes to making more money.

Speaker 1:

And obviously there's a lot of deconditioning that we are required to work on around the starving artists, around all of the things we were told growing up, around you know the role models that raised us and the thoughts and belief systems that we stepped into, around money and wealth and industry and creativity, which my book is all about, and gives you the tools and the journaling prompts to break free from so that you can have more freedom to express yourself creatively in the ways that you make money and, like that ability to, number one, be receptive to creativity, to allow an idea to land and then, number two, to have the courage to be in the messy work of allowing it to unfold, one step at a time, without a roadmap, without a step-by-step strategy. And, number three, the resilience and the commitment and the devotion to keep going until you realize that dream, which is the foundation of entrepreneurship. This is your superpower, and I think there's a lot of resistance that we experience as creatives when we come up against these strategies and foundational ways of doing things and industry standards that don't feel good or that suffocate us or that cause us to have to abandon our values or our sense of integrity or authenticity. And it's when you come up against those sticky points that you get to ask yourself what is the way that I want to do it? What is the new way, what is the new trail that I want to bushwhack? How do I want to tweak this and do this differently so that I can carve my own path? This is true. Innovation that isn't always straightforward, isn't always easy, but it's true it feels better because it's in integrity with doing it in the way that is right for you. So let's talk about nurturing your creativity and using it in your social media strategy, in your content strategy and in the way that you're making money, and how to, kind of like, unlock some of the stuckness that we can feel when we're in our like visionary, and then we have to bring it back down to earth and turn it into an actionable, repeatable strategy that leads to consistent income. So this is really a conversation around boundaries, around your creativity and around money and sales. So I invite you to reflect on what are the boundaries that set you up for success creatively, and I'll speak for me.

Speaker 1:

So sleep, number one priority, because when I'm tired, I find it really difficult to focus and to get things done. So sleep is number one. Taking care of my physical vessel is number one, so that I actually have the energy to pour into the creative work and projects that I desire to express. And then feeling good in my body and actually being in my body and being present right, being outside of our looping thoughts in our head and actually being receptive to my own inspiration. This is a skill that I trained myself to be able to tap into on demand, and I do that by having very, very, very, very tight boundaries around sleep and rest.

Speaker 1:

I know, obviously, that's not always available to everyone. In every life phase, like when you're in motherhood, I'm personally terrified about having children and not being able to sleep, because nothing works when I don't sleep. But I, in motherhood, I'm personally terrified about having children and not being able to sleep, because nothing works when I don't sleep. But I know motherhood unlocks your superhuman capabilities. And also there's coffee. So finding your own way right To get to a place of presence and flow and what does that look like for you?

Speaker 1:

So for me, it's yoga is like the fast track for me, even if I do it for 10 minutes or a 10 minute Qigong, doing something to get into my body and to get really present. And sometimes, just you know, I used to really struggle with silent meditation or just sitting straight into meditation Because I have, you know, a moon in Gemini Virgo rising, very mercurial, busy, wizzy brain, as my husband calls it when he sees my eyes, just like moving around like a little crackhead, following all of the thoughts that are racing through my brain at all times of the day. But doing something to get in my body is the fastest way for me to detach from my thoughts and to create some space for creativity and inspiration and flow and momentum, money mindset. So doing my six minute money flossing ritual, which I teach inside millionaire witch club come and join us, um, or I talk about in my book. Just doing six minutes of journaling on my money mindset helps me to clear out some of the noise that is usually causing emotional resistance, which is usually money related things, to shift that energy to a positive story, to claiming what I desire, which then, like, opens the gates to inspiration and motivation. So making sure that I do these things, these are just some of my creative rituals that get me in the zone before I go and take money making action, before I go and create content and show up for my brand.

Speaker 1:

And doing this is the difference between going through the motions and getting shit done and actually doing it from a place of creative expression. There's a difference, right? So, for example, today I woke up really early, didn't have the best sleep, couldn't fall back asleep again, you know, made the shittiest mistake I could make in my day, which is get on social media while I was in bed and just lie there for like 40 minutes messaging people. And I had my Farsi class. I'm learning Farsi very slowly and ineffectively. And then I had my scheduled live. So I go live every week on my Creative Magic Club account for Storytime with Sarah, where I read a segment of my book, the Six Figure Creative and I share a reflection to keep you engaged in the money mindset work so that you can make progress towards your income goals and to remind you to read the book and do the journaling prompts.

Speaker 1:

And I didn't feel like it right, like I didn't look good, my face was all puffy, I was tired, I wasn't feeling particularly magnetic. But I have made this commitment to myself to do this live stream every week to create community around my book and to promote it. And so what did I do? I put on Beyonce's new album, cowboy Carter, which I haven't actually listened to all the way through, which is, I mean, country music isn't my favorite, but obviously's Beyonce, so it's incredible. Um, but I just hadn't fully listened to it before and I was watching the Grammys. So I was like, oh, it's time, it's time for you to give this to yourself.

Speaker 1:

So I started playing Beyonce, I started singing while I was putting my makeup on, because I know, when I warm my voice up like that, when I sing, that's another way for me to get into my body and to feel that creative inspiration and flow. I channel my inner Beyonce. And you know, I only had like five, ten minutes between my Farsi class and my scheduled live and that's what I did and I felt so much more inspired and I put my makeup on and I showed up and I did my live stream and I felt the difference, like if I had just gone live and like allowed myself to warm up while I was going live stream. And I felt the difference, like if I had just gone live and like allowed myself to warm up while I was going live, it would have been very different. I probably would have lost people in the beginning because my energy was like not there. But because I came in at the beginning and knowing that the first few seconds of any content that you create is the most crucial that's going to hook people in and make them choose to stay for the rest of the content. So I brought the energy I had that you know. It didn't take me more than five minutes to shift my energy, to get in the zone.

Speaker 1:

And this conversation is not only about bringing the energy for the people but it's about bringing it for yourself, because this is the conversation of Pisces is that desire for creative self-expression, so finding your way in to love the work that you're doing, to bring your authentic self-expression to the things that you have strategically committed to and chosen to show up for. So this is a very nuanced and subtle conversation in many ways, but when you bring that energy for yourself, especially as a personal brand, especially as a coach, a healer or a mentor, people hire you because of what you embody. So you cannot just go through the motions and expect people to resonate and connect with you and desire to work with you. You have to be able to embody what it is that you're preaching. And that doesn't mean you have to be perfect all the time and that doesn't mean you can't show up with a puffy face and no makeup and low energy. I've definitely done that many, many times, but there's that subtle difference between not wanting to be there and being really excited to be there even if you're not feeling it. So play with that, with yourself when you're showing up for your content and find your way in to enjoy it. Really ask yourself what can I shift or tweak or do slightly differently that will make this more enjoyable for me? That will make me feel more connected to the work that I'm doing, to the message, to what I'm creating and to the people that I'm creating it for.

Speaker 1:

And you know, when I did that and I got a lot of engagement off the bat somebody tagged me. She wrote down the title of my live stream today, which was the lie of luck. Go and listen to it, it's really good and she posted on her stories a screen grab of the title and she tagged me in it and I was like, oh who's? This person went unlocked on her profile. She tagged me in it and I was like, oh, who's this person? Went unlocked on her profile. She was really cool. She tagged me in another story. She was obviously traveling and listening to my content and I was like, oh hi, safe travels. She responded back and was like, hey, do you want to come on my podcast? And she has a really cool podcast. And I was like, yeah, would love to.

Speaker 1:

And this is the magic of bringing the energy, of being really connected to your message and what you're creating. It's felt by people. That resonance ripples out. People feel how connected you are to your work. So let's talk about confidence, right? Because obviously there's been many times where I've had very few likes or no likes, or no engagement, or no comments and no sales and no clients, right?

Speaker 1:

So what do you do if you're in that phase where you're just not getting the engagement? You feel like no one's seeing your content, nobody's signing up for your offer, and that's when all of your securities are going to rise to the surface. That's when you're at your weakest and most likely to what's the word waver on your boundaries, right Of like, oh, I'll just do it for less money, or I'll just do a trade, or you know whatever those things are that you said you weren't gonna do anymore. When your confidence wanes because your insecurities are rising up from within and being like I told you so no one wants to work with you, you suck, you're not as good as everyone else out there, blah, blah, blah. Whatever the voices are.

Speaker 1:

Whatever the voices are which is, by the way, a great sign when your insecurities come up, because they're coming up for your awareness, so that you can clear them and move past them, so that you can acknowledge them and be like oh, hello insecurities, hello stories of low self-worth and lack of faith and belief in myself. I see you. Thank you so much for trying to keep me safe, but I don't need you anymore because I am a creative badass. I'm going to tap into enjoyment and fulfillment in my work and my creative self-expression and I'm going to have so much fun continuing to show up until I get good at getting my work into the hands of the people that I know will benefit from it. And that's the new mindset and the new program that you get to continually repattern until you have that real world evidence that that is the case and you've launched your offers enough times to know yes, there are going to be periods where no one is reaching out, no one is engaging, but guess what, keep going, keep going. One more week, keep going, two more weeks, three, four, five, six, six months a year.

Speaker 1:

And when those clients do eventually start to show up and sign up and come into your offers, you will realize that they were there all along. They'll be like oh, I found you a year ago, two years ago, a month ago, a week ago, and I love your content and it's really been resonating. And now I'm ready to work with you and you'll get enough evidence of that to calm those voices so they no longer I mean, they're always going to come up at some level, but you will give them less power, you will spend less time engaging with them because you know that that's not true. So you're going to have to do a lot more of this work in the beginning of an offer or a pivot or, you know, newly launching your business, because you're going to have to build that awareness among your people and you're building your audience. And that does take work and it does take time. And today and every day is a day that a new client can find you and sign up when you bring that connection and they can feel you and they can connect to your work, your value, your mission and your vision.

Speaker 1:

So a great hack for us creative souls who are building our confidence around selling our soul work is that creativity and creative play that does bring confidence. Why? Because when we're creating we are in a place of presence. When we're present, when we're in our body, when we're connected to our work and message, when we're channeling our truth and our authenticity, we're not in our heads overthinking and judging and entertaining the voices of insecurity. So that's why in my daily habit tracker for all of my clients, that I bang on about until I'm blue in the face. One of the categories is creative play. Bang on about until I'm blue in the face. One of the categories is creative play. So for me that's been playing my guitar and singing or having a little dance party or putting on my favorite song and singing along, because just doing that for myself it's fun for me. And when I'm having fun and when I'm creating, I'm not thinking about all the reasons why I think what I'm doing isn't working.

Speaker 1:

So when you think about engaging in your creativity, in making art, you get lost, you get messy, you get uncomfortable, you let yourself go there just for the adventure. So be willing to bring that approach into your business. And the trap that we can fall into when we study strategic approaches is that they feed us this lie that you can be all sanitary and action focused and grind and grind and grind and get it done. But the truth is any action done without heart, without that connection, produces a very different result. Right, it's like learning the dance moves of Beyonce without bringing the attitude of Beyonce, like somebody could do the same moves as her, but it's not going to have the same impact when she's not bringing that Beyonce energy. So, same thing when you're building a skill or you're building a craft, you need repetition. You need to go through two shit drafts to get to the one that shines. So we have to be willing to bring that attitude to our business and our launches and our offers. You're going to suck before you get good.

Speaker 1:

And the attitude that has allowed me to, you know, get to six figures within 13 months of my coaching business, when at the beginning I was selling, I was massively undercharging. I had barely anyone signing up for my group programs, was actually just seeing everything as working of like blindly brainwashing myself to celebrate every single damn thing that I did in my business and to refuse to see anything as evidence that it wasn't working. And very quickly I was, you know, charging thousands of dollars and signing clients with ease. So the same goes for sales. Creativity is a shortcut to connection. People buy when they trust you and they trust you when they feel shortcut to connection. People buy when they trust you and they trust you when they feel connected to you. So you have to feel connected to what it is that you're doing. We've established this. So the boundaries that I am going to highly encourage you to get even more uncomfortable and committed around are asking for the sale.

Speaker 1:

So think about how can you bring your creativity to the table in your content and give yourself permission to create from a place of being really connected to your vision and why you're doing it and allowing that self expression to come through, and really being open and being an intuitive channel for that message, for the way you want to create and deliver that message, whether that's through a live stream or a reel or an email series or a podcast or a YouTube channel, like there's so many different ways that you can deliver your message now, so you get to create in the ways that support your creativity, but always, always, always, always, always, apply the boundary of creating within a very clear framework that asks people to take the action that's going to bring your vision to life. So, having a clear launch framework, having clear calls to action, pitching your offer at the end of your content, or knowing exactly which places and spaces you are consistently pitching your offers and inviting people to work with you. And I remember early on in my business, I started actually looking back at my content, being like well, how many times did I actually ask people to buy from me this week? And surprise, surprise, the more times I asked people to buy, the more sales I started making, the more I committed to selling every day, to asking people to buy my shit and giving them very, very clear reasons to buy, the more money I started making. It's not rocket science. So I feel like that's a good balance for you to have is bring your creativity and your self expression to your content and to your message and then place it within the really important boundary of actually asking people to buy from you. And go and look at your content that you've put out or you've created, whether that's on your email list or your social media channels and how often have you talked about your offers? How often have you actually asked people to make the next move, to either sign up to the top of your funnel or to actually go ahead and buy your offer? So if you're ever feeling in a rut, if you're ever feeling like the strategy is like suffocating your creativity, go and set some creative parameters to amplify your self-expression in the way that you're selling and marketing.

Speaker 1:

So here's an example of how I did that. This is why I love using astrology hand in hand with copywriting and content strategy. So I got into the habit of like creating masterclasses around a particular element of my chart and then leaning into that aspect of my chart to create content and to tell stories for that masterclass. So I did that for my Sun Sign Online masterclass. My son is in Leo, so I asked myself what are my Leo qualities that really make me shine? How is it that I love to express myself? What are the qualities that I value most about my Leo son and how can I tell stories about that, about my Leo son, and how can I tell stories about that? That did really well.

Speaker 1:

And then I launched a masterclass on my Venus, on your Venus placement, and my Venus is in cancer, and so I asked myself, how do I express my Venus in cancer placement? And you know, definitely playing music is something that I associate with my Venus placement because my relationship with music is really like it's been a very, very like healing self care practice. For me, it's a place where I process a lot of my emotion, it's where I transmute a lot of my feelings, it's where I feel really connected to myself and create real presence in my life. It's how I nurture myself. And so I decided to share that and I created a video of me singing a Beyonce song yes, I'm obsessed, I'm playing my guitar and I put that up. And then I told a story and connected it back to my masterclass and it got crazy engagement. And then I told a story and connected it back to my masterclass and it got crazy engagement and that was a way for me to challenge myself creatively, to amplify my creative self-expression in a way that's meaningful and enjoyable for me.

And yeah, it was like a more edgy piece of content. Did it take longer? A tiny bit longer, not really. It felt like it was going to take longer, because I don't usually do that type of content and I feel like that's the spectrum we're always negotiating with ourselves on is like, oh, I really want to express myself more in these ways, I want to bring more of these sides of my personality into my work, or more of these thoughts and ideas that I'm having. But I feel like so much effort and I should just keep creating the content that I've been creating, because I know how to create that, because it feels like it's going to take longer, or it's going to bring up more of my insecurities, or it feels more edgy, or I'm going to feel more vulnerable. So, always meeting our creative edge and our content in that way and challenging ourself to grow because social media is a container for growth Our sales and marketing is a way for us to more fully embody what it is that we preach. So the more we meet our edge with that, the more magnetic and the more powerful our message becomes. So if you are curious about your placements and how you can leverage those in your content and have creative ideas that are going to attract people to you, to create more connection, to create more creative self-expression and fun in the way that you're selling and marketing your high ticket offers.

So remember and I think this is something that where a lot of people get stuck because they're like oh, I just want to express myself in these ways, I don't want to write in this like strategic copywriting, and you know, I just want to share my message and be in flow and you can do all of those things. Just remember call to action. Put a call to action on whatever content you create and it's going to further your vision. It's going to be another seed planted, another brick on the you know the house of your business. That is not only going to nurture and support you as you continue to grow it, but it's going to bring your vision to life, which is the whole purpose of you showing up in the first place.

So ask for the sale, ask for the sign up, ask for the engagement, ask people to share, ask people to subscribe, and be really clear on what you're asking and why and when. And make sure that you have a clear launch framework, that you're not just willy nilly showing up online and asking people to do things without really knowing your clear strategy, so that you can catch yourself to track yourself, to really get repetitive, because what happens when we get repetitive is you get better at asking, because you're only going to ask so many times and it's not happening before. You're going to seek to how to change that. To do it better, you're either going to start asking in a different place, or you're going to start asking in a different way, or you're going to invite more and different people to that conversation, or you're going to change the conversation so that it becomes an easier yes for the people that you want to say yes to you. Where have you felt some resistance? Where have you felt some expansion and some excitement? What are the intuitive ideas that have come up? What actions are you going to take to just have more fun, to bring more courage and creativity into the way you are standing for your vision and your offers and the transformation that you provide for your clients? And, more importantly, how are you bringing more of yourself to this conversation so that people can see you, they can connect to you, they can feel you, because that leads to trust, which leads to sales, and not just any sales, but sales from the right people who are truly compatible with your work.
