What's up? This is Sarah Mack, and welcome to Creative Magic Club. And I'm doing something that I don't think I've done in a really long time, which is record a podcast.
Speaker 1:In the evening, I am staying with my in-laws in Toronto. I got out of LA and I've just been pampering the fuck out of myself and doing tons of self-care to feel back on top after a very stressful two weeks with LA on fire, and I got home from getting my nails done, which I haven't done in like several years, and no one was home and there was a conversation that I had today in Boxer with a client that I feel is so game-changing and important when it comes to helping you break through to attract ready-to-buy, dream, dream soulmate clients into your high ticket offers, and this is something. This is a conversation that comes up again and again and again with my clients, so I was like I need to make a podcast episode on this. So I know you're going to love this. I know that this is going to make you money. So be receptive to this message please, because it could be one of those shifts that literally becomes a turning point for you in being able to sign clients into your high ticket offer. And there's a few layers to this conversation, but this is going to be especially helpful.
Speaker 1:Or a coach who offers intangible magic, or you do energy healing or mindset work and you really do have the power to help many, many, many, many people. And maybe you are a little tiny bit held back by wanting to help everybody and you know that that is impacting your messaging and that you're not actually speaking directly to the perfect fit client for you. So maybe you're having a lot of success with getting referrals. You know, as is often the case with referrals. Sometimes people get sent to you who aren't actually your ideal client and they don't have that groundwork of knowing your story, of having built trust with you. They just saw some incredible results that their friend made and they wanted some of that, and so they were like I don't care who this is, I can see that you know your work is powerful and I'm going to sign up and this is, you know, really the benefit of authentic storytelling driven content is it develops relationships and it lays the foundation and the groundwork for very highly compatible relationships, which leads to easy sales, which leads to very compatible working relationships and it leads to people jumping into your office that truly will get the best results from your work and do it the most easily and, you know, be the most joy to work with.
Speaker 1:So maybe you're getting referrals or maybe you got exposure to some larger audiences or, through other people's audiences, you got an influx of people into your business and into your offers and you started to discover again some of these people aren't quite that perfect fit and it's creating some issues for you in your coaching. Maybe there's clients who are complaining, who want that fun to work with, or just who don't quite get you and your work fully and are becoming either problem clients or they're just particularly draining to work with and you feel like you're banging your head against the wall, having to, you know, trying to get them to get what you're trying to deliver. When you really crack this depth and clarity in your storytelling, all of these problems will go away and this is the power of content that is really positioning you in an accurate and authentic way, which is the power of stories. So, you know, the big question that everybody is always asking me is how do I attract empowered clients? How do I attract people who don't have a shit ton of objections who isn't you know it doesn't feel like you're trying to drag a horse to water to drink who are ready to show up, they're ready to pay and invest, they're ready to do the work, they're committed to change and transformation. They get amazing results from your work, which brings you that level of fulfillment that you're making the biggest impact with your work that you can possibly be. And it's fun Like when you have these types of clients.
Speaker 1:You know, I literally like talking to my clients as the highlight of my day. If I'm having a bad day, I know I'm gonna go and go in boxer and I'm gonna start serving my clients and it's gonna completely shift my energy, it's gonna make me so happy to be alive and, no matter what is going on, my business is my happy place, you know, despite having to do accounting and admin and these types of things which which aren't the most fun part for me but my client work has always been phenomenally fulfilling and energizing and expansive for me because I attract the right people for me and I do that through content. So one thing I want to speak to you for me and I do that through content. So one thing I want to speak to you because I do attract a lot of healers and a lot of the people I help do have Chiron in Taurus. So if you're familiar with my work, you know that I love to focus on your Chiron placement.
Speaker 1:It's your wounded healer, it's that place in your chart and in your life where you're kind of continually brought to your knees and you're learning a lot of lessons and you feel like you're failing. But the universe is actually bringing you so much gold and wisdom and expertise through these challenges that you face over and over and over again in different iterations. So chiron and taurus, I see is a really common placement for healers. Obviously, I work with other clients who still experience these types of things, but I just want to name this because I've noticed this as a very specific trend. And Chiron and Taurus is about the wound of loss and, whether or not you have this placement, you may still experience shades of what I'm going to talk about, but I just wanted to flag that in case that is your placement, to know that you are not alone and it's a thing, and having awareness of these patterns is really going to help you bring the right mindset to your content and messaging and storytelling.
Speaker 1:And I always talk about the importance of working with our mindset hand in hand with our messaging strategy, because this is the reason why One of the biggest ways that people hold themselves back from reaching those truly compatible soulmate clients, it's the woman conditioning people, pleasing right. Conditioning people pleasing right. It's like we are raised to create a sense of safety by making sure everyone else around us is happy, and this is a survival strategy that you know we had to use so many of us growing up in a world that didn't value us, that didn't protect us, that didn't keep us safe. So this is a very unconscious survival pattern and it shows up in our messaging by people pleasing, by not actually truly deeply and clearly taking a stand for what we really want and who we are really here for. And sometimes you know, obviously it's a process to get to that clarity and our astrology chart can give us instant insights on who that is, what your zone of genius is, what you know offers are going to make you the most money, what creative rituals and approaches are going to be most in alignment for you to reach your people, get paid and do your work and make impact.
Speaker 1:But I've been there pretty much everyone I've worked with has been there Just having that sneaky little voice in the back of your head. That's like but what about all the helping, all the people? What about, like I can you know we actually lie to ourselves. We tell ourselves that we can and we are capable of helping everybody and, while that may be true to a certain level, when we're talking about selling high ticket offers, we're talking about you actually owning and naming and standing for what you're really, really good at, what you're best at, not what you could be mediocrely good at. And you know here, there and everywhere, with any Tom, dick, harry or Sheila that walks off the street.
Speaker 1:This is about you delivering your highest level of service and impact and you're only really, really, really good at like a small section of things, and this is what you know. Our Chiron can give us a lot of clues around this, because usually it's the things that we've suffered through that we have so much in-depth knowledge and wisdom around how to overcome, which makes us such incredible teachers and guides in. It's really, really epic and it goes into using your chiron placement in your copywriting and your storytelling.
Speaker 1:So this desire to help everyone, to not leave anyone behind and to not offend anyone it's that people-pleasing pattern can really be holding you back in your marketing. The other slice of this pie is being afraid to fully own your difference of opinion, and this isn't just, you know, trash talking the way other people do things in your industry. But this is really acknowledging what has and what hasn't worked for you, Because, again, this is another layer to your unique expertise, your unique flavor of genius in what you help your clients with. Because, remember, the more specificity and the more detail you can give about what truly and genuinely has worked for you and for the people that you serve and what hasn't worked for you and the people that you serve is going to give people that extra detail and clarity to know if you are for them or you are not. And we're so afraid you know it's such a fallacy and online marketing that we think if I just focus on these specific people and these specific solutions, then I'm missing out on so much money and so many other clients that I could be helping. And actually it's the complete opposite the more people know that you are specifically for them, the more sold they're going to be on working with you, the more money they are going to be willing to pay you and the better results they're going to get because they're a better match for who you are.
Speaker 1:So this specificity and storytelling applies not only to your personal experience and transformation, but also to your unique methodologies and the way that you work, how you help clients, your unique magic and medicine. And you know this can often be the most challenging aspect of messaging work, because we're so close to who we are. We're so close to our work that sometimes it can be difficult to be objective about that, which is why it's so helpful to work with a content strategist who has experience and knows exactly what parts of your story and your message to pull out and can just get you there so much faster, without tons of notes and tons of journaling and tons of overthinking and sideline. If you are also like a very intuitive healer practitioner, also, if you're potentially a four line in human design which can be challenged at new levels of being able to perceive your own gifts and value, one of the shortcuts around this is to just do your work in your marketing.
Speaker 1:So how can you create opportunities for people to experience your work, whether you're doing, you know, channeled readings, intuitive readings, answering questions, live coaching and just allow people an inside perspective on what it looks like to be supported by you? So the more you can take these types of experiences and turn that into your content or make that your content for your marketing, the easier it is for people to get that information without you even have to sit down and be like and translate that into a message you can literally show them without needing to tell them. So that's an amazing, amazing hack, and remember it is worth just combing through the way you do things and asking well, how do I do things differently from how I've learned or from other people in my space, and what do I take a stand for? And what do I take a stand for and what do I take a stand against? Because that is such a powerful piece of your unique positioning and maybe it's just the blend of methodologies that you use, or maybe it's just, you know, the different chapters of your past that bring that unique flavor to how you do the thing that you do.
Speaker 1:So two ways that we can be held back and I'm still like on the mindset stuff behind the messaging. One is not actually valuing that, you know, not actually feeling really deeply connected to and valuing your own uniqueness, which is another reason why I'm obsessed with astrology, because it is literally a diagram of your gifts that makes it clear as day and it gives you that certainty, that instant clarity and that confidence to be able to name those gifts and to really take a stand for them clearly, publicly, because that's really what's required of you. You know, to be easily signing clients into your high ticket offer so there's actually connecting to you and valuing them and overcoming any imposter syndrome of you know. Oh, people get so caught up in comparison and you know, sometimes your feed is filled with other people doing similar work as you and it gives you this impression that, like when you sit down to write your content in your head, you're like, well, this isn't as good as so-and-so, or I wish I was at the level of this person, so my work isn't, it's just not as good. So why I just I'm not even going to bother, you know, or you write something without real passion, without real connection, because you're so caught up in all the other people who are doing similar work to you instead of being really, really focused on actually who you have the capacity to help. Because the person that is quote unquote better than you is actually not as good a fit for your clients.
Speaker 1:And I'm sure you've heard people talk about this. People have said this to me all the time how it's so much more helpful sometimes to work with someone who's half a step ahead of you than to work with someone who's like a mile ahead of you, who you know has forgotten what it's like to be at your phase of the transformation or who, when they were at your phase, the world and the landscape that they were operating in was a completely different place. So being so deeply rooted in who you are right now, the work you do right now and how you do the work you do, is exactly perfect for your most compatible soul client now, and obviously the way we access that is through stories. So the main point of this podcast that I really want you to receive and to allow it to sink in, that was really a turning point for me when it came to filling my high ticket offers and that I know has been extremely helpful for my clients who are also stuck in this. Yeah well, I could help so many different people. I can help so many people get results and I want to help people.
Speaker 1:You know I have like a big bleeding heart and I want to make the world a better place and I want to do everything I can for as many people as I can to remember that when you are selling a high ticket offer and you want somebody to invest thousands upon thousands of dollars to create the transformation that they desire, that you have created, you have to remember that this person is highly, highly, highly ambitious and I know that sometimes this can be a triggering word, specifically for creatives and for highly sensitive, empathic entrepreneurs and I didn't initially connect to the idea of being ambitious. I didn't really see myself as ambitious, but when I really started to unpack it, I realized that I'm extremely fucking ambitious, like so many of us in the personal development world. Like we want to make millions, we want to impact millions. We want to change the world. We want the world that we leave behind us to be the world that we wish we had been born into. We want to make the world a better place for our children and grandchildren and nieces and nephews and grandchildren and nieces and nephews. We're big dreamers, we're visionaries, we see the change that we believe is possible and we actually show up and take action every day, as if these visions can become real.
Speaker 1:Not everyone is like that, but your person, who's going to get the most from your work in a high touch, high ticket offer. They're just like you in these ways, even if their specific life circumstances might be a little bit different or maybe even a lot different. Their heart and their drive and their commitment and devotion is extraordinarily high like yours and, let's be real is extraordinarily high, like yours. And let's be real and this is the level of storytelling that it's so important to bring into your messaging and your content is to just be honest. Be honest about your ambition, be honest about what it's taken for you to get to where you are. Be honest about what you've tried and what you failed at and how many times you've picked yourself up and you've kept going, because that's an empowering message, right? And when you're talking about attracting empowered clients, you're not going to attract them by pretending like everything is easy, by pretending like everything just came to you, like I don't know, you were just graced as a lucky star and this is your Chiron.
Speaker 1:You know people want to hear the grit, they want to hear what you've been through, they want to hear what brought you to your knees. They want to hear the things that you are still struggling with to this day, and not to say that you always need to lead with a story of struggle, because I think one thing that can actually be the easiest thing for people to kind of slip into and when you're starting to become more vulnerable in your storytelling, it's kind of easy for us sometimes to be like. You know it hasn't always been easy for me. These are all the ways that it's been hard. I'm not perfect. These are, you know. These are the challenges that I still face today. I'm not perfect. These are, you know. These are the challenges that I still face today.
Speaker 1:What I see that people struggle with the most is being honest about how freaking, strong and resilient and accomplished and ambitious they are because of that woman conditioning, of feeling safer, being small and not making other people uncomfortable because that may not have been safe for us in the past. So we have protective mechanisms around keeping other people comfortable. So these are the things that we have to break to tell stories that are really going to attract empowered clients. So if you take one thing away from this conversation, it's to radically celebrate the truth about what it has taken for you to get where you are today. And another kind of layer of this conversation that I've been having with clients is sometimes it can feel uncomfortable when you see other mentors out there online being like I've invested X number of dollars. I am always working with X, y and Z mentors. I invest big.
Speaker 1:A really fine line between being honest about what you have really been doing behind the scenes to get to where you are and using it as like a badge of honor in a way to shame people and kind of coerce people into buying your office. And I think there are people out there doing both ends of the spectrums and because people see it done in kind of an icky way, it turns people off having those conversations altogether. So, you know, I do believe that there is a right way to have these conversations and as long as you're grounded and rooted in authenticity and in the clear intention that you want your message to empower your client, the way that kind of a message would come out would be you know, if I asked myself to answer this question from the heart, what has it really taken? Like, what have I done? What moves have I made recently that have really supported me, that have really paid off in creating actual, real, valuable transformation in my own life? And whatever it is that I help my clients with?
Speaker 1:The honest answer to that question, that's what you want to share and this is, you know, to attract empowered clients. It means dropping the coercion, dropping the saying this so that I can get that, and really it means leaning into your truth with as much clarity and honesty as possible, like from your heart, and not painting a shiny picture that maybe doesn't tell the full story, right, because I think people want to know what they're signing up for and obviously you wouldn't be like, hey, you're going to join my program and instantly have an existential crisis and all of your triggers are going to come up and you're going to self-sabotage and maybe turn against me and pick a fight with the people that you love and maybe get sick or crash your car All these things which, let's be honest, can happen when you're doing deeply transformational work with clients. I've definitely seen that happen to my clients in the past. But I find the more empowered way to approach this in your storytelling is to share your direct personal experience of walking your own talk, and that's going to give people the information that they need to know that you are walking your talk and that you can help them to walk that walk as well. So I really hope that this is landing for you and that you are super ambitious.
Speaker 1:And that you are super ambitious the fact that you're selling a high ticket offer, that you're creating these spaces for people to have deep transformation, that you are constantly reinventing yourself, constantly investing in your own growth. You are developing your own way of using the methodologies that you have learned to create incredible experiences for your clients. You're making your own freaking rules and I know sometimes it can feel like, well, is this even really working? Like, do I feel like I can really back this? You know new way of being and doing things that I'm claiming because we're so often we're evolving so rapidly all the time. But you have to recognize and really ground into what you have accomplished so far and what it is about you and the way that you show up and the actions that you've taken and the devotion and the commitment that you bring on a daily basis that allows you to constantly evolve and to constantly get what you want, even though you might be in a phase right now where you're like I feel like I'm really not getting what I want, but you are the kind of person who gets what she wants and you're always going to be in a position where you don't have what you want yet, because there's always going to be something else that you want.
Speaker 1:So, being really grounded in what you have created, being really connected to the value of that, while also being transparent about your journey and your constant evolution and recognizing that your client the kind of clients who are going to jump into your high ticket offers they're not afraid of doing what it takes to create what they want. They've already decided, just like you have done, that what they want is possible for them and that's really, really important. And speaking to that person with that type of language is going to cut out anyone who's in victim mindset, anyone who's actually stuck, because the person who's stuck isn't going to invest in a high ticket offer or, if they do, it's gonna be a nightmare in trying to get them to get the results. Which is why it's so important to make these small shifts in your messaging, which, honestly, are naturally gonna happen when you really allow that to sink in. Like no, my person is super freaking ambitious. She loves to invest in herself. She loves and is looking to invest in high ticket support. She's been planning for this, she's been budgeting for this. This is her absolute priority.
Speaker 1:This type of language, this type of targeting when you're speaking to your client is going to be the type of message that calls forward empowered clients into your high ticket offers and, obviously, sharing your hero's journey in your content, being transparent about what's hard and what challenges you're moving through, but always from the perspective of leadership and confidence and conviction and passion. Because that's one thing that I've learned from the perspective of leadership and confidence and conviction and passion. Because that's one thing that I've learned from the beginning of my business. Someone with zero business training, I taught myself copywriting through online courses, did a bunch of money mindset and got to six figures in my coaching business within 13 months. Conviction sells. If you know the true value of what you have to offer and you speak that with conviction and you're like, yes, I'm a fucking badass. Yes, I'm extremely ambitious. Yes, I've created massive and drastic transformation in my own life. Because I was willing to do this, this and this, because I was willing to give up this, this and this.
Speaker 1:Not only are you going to be speaking to the right kinds of people, but anyone else who's in your audience, who isn't quite there yet, is going to get there simply by consuming your content. So you're going to be creating more and more and more empowered clients, even if you do attract people from other audiences or from referrals who aren't quite in the space to be the perfect fit for your offer. The more they follow you. The more they consume your content, the closer they're going to be to being ready and to being that person. So that's what I wanted to share.
Speaker 1:I really hope that it's landed, and this is really why I love combining astrology with copywriting and content strategy and messaging and offer positioning, because it's so, so, so normal for us to doubt ourselves, right leaders, in a world that was literally set up to reject everything that we value for centuries before we were born. So we're constantly navigating not only external but internalized narratives of self-judgment and self-rejection and that's why the mindset work is non-negotiable, right, because we're constantly having to navigate that. But we're also super freaking creative and when you're a healer and you're a creative, everything that you consume and you absorb and you learn and you go through and you experience, you then digest and integrate that and that becomes your magic, that becomes your curriculum. So that's constantly evolving and finding the language for it is a process that you're going to go through in your branding, in your, your message, online, and it's a very like intangible process, especially because we're always evolving, right, and sometimes I know I really resist like putting creating, like terminology and like it feels like putting myself in a box. I'm like, oh well, this is now the thing that I'm going to be doing forever. Um, I wouldn't. I know so many of us really resist that.
Speaker 1:So that's what I love about astrology, because it's like it's your gifts, your skills, your challenges, your uniqueness staring you back in the face. It's like undeniable when you see it and you're like, oh yeah, like this connects to that part of me that's known this about me all along or that feels this every day, but that it just is kind of like that mid step to make what we feel internally more tangible externally. It's a language right. Externally it's a language right that we can use to connect to our inner world, to our intuitive gifts, and, using that language framework, we can then translate that into clear content, topics, clear copywriting and actual pieces of content that really showcase who we are uniquely, without needing to filter through what everyone else is doing and try to figure out how we're different. And, you know, find our positioning based on other people outside of ourselves, but find our positioning through actually who we are on the inside and getting instant clarity around that.
